Ismael Matos Táboas

Ismael Táboas is Manager (Assurance Services) in the Lisbon office, also assuming the same functions in the Faro office.

With more than 20 years with the firm, he has been a chartered accountant since May 2016. He has deep experience in audits in the public sector, with an emphasis on education, health, municipalities and public institutes, with experience in international and national work in an environment IFRS and in work in the private sector.

Ensures supervision of international reporting work in an IFRS environment with an emphasis on entities in the pharmaceutical sector and industrial services: Biomerieux, Schering and Ferrostaal; audit work on listed companies and companies with listed securities: Grupo Sporting e Infraestruturas de Portugal; auditing and consultancy work in various areas of the public sector: Court of Auditors, IAPMEI, AICEP, IPMA, Turismo de Portugal, Universities, Institutes, Municipalities and Foundations; and several other audit works in different areas of the private sector: Sporting, Montepio Geral, Iberol, Apametal, Banco BCA (Cape Verde), GA Angola Seguros (Angola), Garantia Seguros (Cape Verde).

He has a degree in Management from the University of Évora and is a Chartered Accountant (ROC), and is registered with the respective Professional Order, as well as with the Order of Certified Accountants.
